Dear family and friends,
Thank You for your Prayers
Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. (Luke 10:3)
Once again I want to thank all of those who supported, and prayed for our team to El Salvador, Ecuador, and for some of us, Colombia. (There are those who are still in Ecuador working with the earthquake victims.) You know God is at work when He takes a team of 10 ordinary people and reaches out to over 1700 people, ministering the love, compassion, and salvation of the risen Christ. We saw hundreds come to a saving knowledge of Christ, from teenage gang members to children in the schools, and outreaches. At the pastor’s conference, I shared on suffering and the sovereignty of God in our lives. Dozens of pastors came up to the altar weeping. One woman came to the altar to recognize the sovereignty of God in her life, which prevented her from committing suicide.
If God could use an old gimpy guy with a swollen leg, and 9 ordinary people to lead hundreds to Christ in one week, He could use anyone. We need to pray to God if He wants you to be part of a future harvest!! “…I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” (John 4:35)
We are grateful for your prayers, love, and support. It truly cannot be put into words the sight of hundreds of school children praying, or gang members that were once killers crying to receive Jesus. Words also could not express the emotions when a child from an orphanage hugs you, wanting to be loved. One day we will ALL share in this fruit together. “May the LORD now show you kindness and faithfulness, and I too will show you the same favor because you have done this.” (2 Samuel 2:6)
With love and prayers, Joseph Nigro
